Who listens on Audiomack
Audiomack is free and paid for by advertising, with an optional paid tier. It is known for discovery and for offline listening, and it passed 50 million monthly users in January 2026.
Its audience is concentrated in the United States and Africa, and Nigeria is its largest market. Hip-hop, Afrobeats, dancehall and gospel do especially well. If your listeners are in Nigeria or elsewhere in Africa, Audiomack belongs on your release next to Spotify and YouTube Music.
Uploading yourself or delivering through us
Like SoundCloud, Audiomack lets anyone upload. Creators get free hosting, unlimited storage and stats, and can upload from the Audiomack Creator App on their phone. Releases can also arrive from distributors and labels.

Audiomack says it directly: if you work with a distributor, your earnings are sent to the distributor. So pick one route per song. A demo or freestyle you post yourself is fine; a release we deliver should not also be uploaded by you, or the same song appears twice and its plays are split.
Claiming your Audiomack artist profile
Music delivered by a distributor sits on an artist profile that you can claim. A claimed profile gives you control of the photo, social links and Creator Dashboard, and lets you upload to it as well. You do not need to claim if you created the profile yourself and still have the login.
Audiomack's help centre describes the claim like this:
- Follow Audiomack's creator account on Instagram, @audiomackartist.
- Send it a direct message from your official artist account.
- Include the link to your unclaimed Audiomack profile, the name of your distributor or label with any UPC or ISRC codes, and the email you want to use — one not already linked to an Audiomack account.
A link to your official website or social bio helps it process the request. Every TempoDigital release has a free UPC and an ISRC on each track, so you will have the codes from your first release.
Claiming is not the same as authentication, which is Audiomack's check for creators who earn from their own uploads through its Monetization Program. You do not need it for tracks we deliver.

Audiomack has screened streams for fraud with outside detection technology since mid-2025. Do not buy plays: no legitimate promotion sells them.
Releasing on Audiomack, step by step
- Apply and set up your artistAccounts are opened by application — tell us about your music and we usually have you ready within one working day.
- Add the release detailsTitle, artists, genre, release date and territories. Credit featured artists as artists, not in the title.
- Upload artwork and audioSquare artwork of at least 2400 × 2400 px (3000 × 3000 is ideal) and lossless WAV, FLAC or AIFF. Both are checked on upload.
- Pick Audiomack and the other storesEvery plan includes every store at no extra charge. We deliver approved releases within 24 hours; how fast Audiomack publishes is up to Audiomack.
- Claim your profileOnce the release is live, send Audiomack your claim with the release's UPC.
Set your release date two to three weeks ahead so Audiomack goes live on the same day as every other store.
How Audiomack pays you
Audiomack earns from advertising and its paid tier. It says the rate it pays per stream is not fixed: it changes every month with the country, the total number of paid streams and its revenue. We do not quote a figure.

Stores report in arrears — most about two months after the month the streams happened. Audiomack's earnings land in your TempoDigital wallet in US dollars, and above $70 you can withdraw by Payoneer, PayPal, Wise or bank transfer.
Mistakes to avoid on Audiomack
- Uploading a release you also distribute. Two copies, split plays.
- Claiming with an email already on Audiomack. The claim needs an address that is not linked to an account.
- Bought plays. Audiomack screens streams for fraud.
- Skipping it because it is free. In Nigeria and across Africa, it is where many listeners are.
