A distributor with roots in the region

TempoDigital AB was founded in Sweden in 2016. Our head office is in Gävle, and our operations office is in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our team in Sarajevo speaks your language.

Artists, labels and broadcasters we work with include Dubioza Kolektiv, Hayat, OBN and Klix. We distribute music, administer publishing and run YouTube Content ID networks, so a catalogue from the region can be released, protected and paid from one account.

What every release gets

  • Every major store — Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, Amazon Music, Deezer, TIDAL and many more. See every store.
  • Delivery within 24 hours of approval, with a release date you schedule and the territories you choose.
  • Free ISRC and UPC codes, or keep the codes you already have.
  • YouTube Content ID on every plan, through our own Content ID networks.
  • Your label name on every release, at no extra cost.
  • Royalty splits, so each band member or collaborator is paid their share directly.
  • A landing page for every release, listing every store it is live on.

Spotify has been available in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Slovenia since July 2020, so listeners at home and in the diaspora now use the same services. One release reaches both.

YouTube: the region's biggest music platform

It is widely recognised that YouTube is the biggest music platform in the Balkans. Songs travel there as music videos, live sessions, TV clips and fan uploads — often on channels that are not the artist's own.

That makes Content ID especially valuable for artists from the region. Content ID finds your recording in anyone's upload and earns you the ads. We run three Content ID networks — Music, Entertainment and Publishing — and monetise more than a billion YouTube views a month across them. On the Release, Artist and Label plans you keep 80% of Content ID earnings. See Content ID for music.

Your release also becomes official audio on YouTube Music, and artists who release with us can ask us about an Official Artist Channel. TV stations, portals and production houses can add the channels they run to our CMS, or have us build and run one. See YouTube networks.

Author rights and your local collection society

Streaming royalties pay for the recording. Songwriters and composers are also owed royalties for the song itself, collected in each country by its collection society:

Names as given on each society's own website, checked 16 October 2026. Performers and record producers are represented by separate organisations.

Membership of your local society is the base. On top of it, our publishing administration registers songs with more than 50 collection societies and pay sources across 215 territories — which matters when your songs are streamed and played where the diaspora lives — and pays what it collects into the same wallet as your streaming income. Talk to us about how it fits with your society membership.

For artists in the diaspora

Artists from the region living in Sweden, Germany, Austria, Switzerland or the US often have two audiences: one at home and one where they live. A release through TempoDigital reaches both, on the same day if you choose, and the money from every store comes back to one place.

Releasing in more than one language or script? Enter titles exactly as they should appear, and keep the artist name identical on every release so stores keep your music on one profile.

For labels and broadcasters

Regional labels can run a roster of up to ten artists on the Label plan for $149 a year and keep 100% of store royalties. Each artist can have their own login and sees their own releases and money, while you see analytics across the whole roster. Larger catalogues can talk to us about Label Partner: no fee, 85% to the label, unlimited artists and releases, marketing support and a dedicated account manager. See distribution for labels.

Moving a catalogue from another distributor? Deliver it again with the same ISRCs and UPCs and wait until it is live before taking it down at the old one; play counts and playlists normally carry over, and we help plan the move. Read how to switch distributors.

All earnings — stores, YouTube and publishing — go into one wallet in US dollars. Statements close on the 15th of the following month, and you can withdraw anything above $70 by Payoneer, PayPal, Wise or bank transfer; below $70 the balance carries over. Stores report in arrears, most about two months after the month the streams happened.

Tax

How music income is taxed differs between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and the other countries, and again where you live in the diaspora. Ask a local accountant how to declare it.

Accounts are opened by application. Tell us about your music and your account is usually ready within one working day; your first release is reviewed by our team before it is delivered. Compare the plans.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is there a music distributor in Bosnia and Herzegovina?

TempoDigital is a Swedish company with its operations office in Sarajevo. We distribute music for artists and labels from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the rest of the region, and our team in Sarajevo speaks your language.

Can artists from Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Slovenia use TempoDigital?

Yes. We work with artists and labels from across the region and the diaspora, and payouts reach you wherever you live — by Payoneer, PayPal, Wise or bank transfer.

How are royalties paid to Balkan artists?

In US dollars, into your TempoDigital wallet, with a monthly statement. Above $70 you can withdraw by Payoneer, PayPal, Wise or bank transfer.

Do I still need SOKOJ, HDS ZAMP or AMUS if I use a distributor?

Yes, if you write songs. A distributor collects royalties for the recording; your collection society collects for the composition. Our publishing administration adds registration with societies abroad.

Can I put covers of other artists' songs into YouTube Content ID?

No. Content ID and the social rights tools are only for audio you control exclusively, so covers, uncleared samples and non-exclusive beats stay out of them.

Can I move my music from another distributor without losing streams?

Yes. Deliver each release again with the same ISRCs and UPC, wait until it is live, then take it down at the old distributor. How to switch distributors.

Is this page available in Bosnian?

Yes. Our Bosnian site covers the same offer: distribucija muzike.
